First Annual Brotherhood Project Golf Tournament Raises Over $10,000 for Mental Health
When I started The Brotherhood Project, my goal was simple: create conversations around mental health, support those who may be struggling, and give back to organizations that are making a difference. I never imagined that in our very first year, we would be able to bring together such an incredible community and raise over $10,000 through our inaugural Brotherhood Project Golf Tournament.
This achievement was made possible because of the generosity, kindness, and support of so many people who believed in the mission. From our sponsors and donors to every golfer who registered, every volunteer who gave their time, and every person who purchased a raffle ticket or silent auction item, this success belongs to all of you.
The day was about much more than golf. It was about bringing people together, creating connections, honouring those we’ve lost, supporting those who are struggling, and continuing to break the stigma surrounding mental health. Seeing firefighters, first responders, community members, businesses, friends, and families come together for a common cause was something I will never forget.
The funds raised through the tournament will support Project Trauma Support and the family of the fire captain whose struggles with mental health inspired me to create The Brotherhood Project. His legacy continues to drive this mission every day, and this event was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support one another.

I also want to thank the amazing volunteers who worked behind the scenes, the golfers who filled the course, and everyone who supported The Brotherhood Project leading up to and throughout the tournament. Events like this are only possible because people choose to show up and support a cause bigger than themselves.
Raising over $10,000 in our first year exceeded every expectation I had. More importantly, it demonstrated that there is a community willing to stand together, support mental health initiatives, and help ensure that those who are struggling know they are never alone.
This is only the beginning.
